The interface has been reworked since its predecessors, making Microsoft Office 13 ideal both for touch-enabled devices and traditional desktop computers and notebooks. Work productively with Microsoft Office Professional 2013. Microsoft Office 2013 Professional provides you with a complete package of programs, containing the following products.
Team PlannerThe Team Planner is only available if you have the Professional version of Microsoft Project 2013. The Team Planner allows you to assign tasks that have not yet been assigned as well as move tasks between resources, such as in the case of overallocation.
The Team Planner is the default view under the Resource tab if you have Project Professional. If you have Project Standard, the Resource Sheet is the default view. Project ServerThe ability to connect to Project Server is only available if you have Project Professional. Project Server is useful in portfolio management and team collaboration tools. Generic ResourcesOnly Project Professional contains a Generic Resource checkbox to indicate that a Work resource is generic. This is helpful if you know the role that is needed to complete the task, but you have not yet been assigned a specific resource.
Inactive TasksOnly Project Professional allows you to inactivate tasks. When you inactivate a task, the software formats the task with gray font and uses the strikethrough font effect, hollows out the Gantt bar, treats the task as if it has 0 hours of remaining work, no longer reflects resource availability, and cancels the dependency relationship. The benefit of using an inactive task versus deleting the task, is that when you delete a task that has a baseline it will created negative variance in the project and you won’t be able to tell why.

It appears to be great, but I am having some issues with it especially with downloading PowerPoint to a disc even though I think the program I created is wonderful, and I have not been able to save my access program at all that I created thereby I have not been able to use that part of the program at all although I know the concept can do a lot of things for me. I have no problems with word it is working beautifully. Office calendar also is working great but having problems opening some of my emails but it says that it is a administrator problem which I have not been able to figure out yet. Note seem fine although I just looked at it. And Skype seem okay except it does not seem to know that I have free minutes with the purchase of the program, so I have not used it. Again excel is working for me I was even able to create a chart, but that's no biggy as there is very little work to it.
I purchased Microsoft Office 2013 Professional. I was dazzled with all of the improvements Microsoft has made to this essential software program. The ease of the tested and glitch free software makes it easy to use. I was surprised all the buttons did exactly what they were suppose to do.
There was no, 'Why didn't that work'. I do recommend you watch the tutorial video's that come with the software. I found many short cuts, that I would have never found on my own.
I am a high level novice. One of the main features is the new Outlook. It is great, you may taylor each email to the recipient, such as page color, clip art (from Bing), and the one place for all your different email addresses, which I have 7 email accounts. O, and also corporate email. I do think Outlook should be more price reduced, and included in the basic software, people would pat a modest extra for this feature, I'm sure. I purchased three copies and was expecting retail copies of Microsoft Office Professional 2013, but what I received were HP OEM versions. Nevertheless, I was able to install and activate Office on the two machines I installed the copies on with the provided product keys.
I am awaiting delivery of a new computer before installing the third copy.I was also disappointed to discover that there was no contact information for the Walmart affiliate seller on Walmart's web site, so if I had a problem, I would have had no way to reach the seller, and Walmart disclaimed any responsibility for the returns because it was sold to me by the affiliate.
