Sorry Bob, not seeing those links, I only see two links Important links Click here to download the new release Click Here to view the readme for this release These links are pointing to XE5 pages. It's just not there.

Embarcadero Rad Studio Xe6 Serial Number

YetOK, this is very strange, I mistakenly pushed the button 'Email My Password' (who did make that user interface anyway??). I've got an e-mail with two passwords one for XE5 and one for XE6.

With the password for XE6 I am able to get my XE6 licenses. The password is the the same only with a (Underscore) in fornt of it.Edited by: Patrick van de Pieterman on Apr 15, 2014 5:57 AM. Only the oldest 120 or so reports on this list were reported in2012 or earlier. I still think it's an impressive list of fixes. Are there any older reports that are getting in your way? Or do youjust like the idea of older reports finally getting cleaned up, like Ido?-Regards,Bruce McGeeGlooscap Software.

When I have time I'll compile a list.Thanks.Embarcadero promised to put extra effort into bug fixes for XE6 and XE7(and hopefully all future releases), even coining the term QPS (qualityperformance stability), so this would be a really good time for peopleto call attention to their particular pet peeves. As always, clearly defined issues and reports with lots of votes aremore likely to be looked at sooner rather than later.-Regards,Bruce McGeeGlooscap Software. I think they've put enough stuff into the XE6 Pro SKU to warrant meupgrading from XE2.I could definitely use the REST client, VCL styles, SQLite FD driver, inmemory FD dataset, and new bindings architecture.I may try out a few small mac apps using FM.Still sitting on sideline for mobile stuff.

Haven't had any need forandroid yet and i'm already proficient in objC. I definitely like thedirection they are headed though.I'm a little disappointed on the server front that they didn't do muchwith datasnap. Seriously EBT your upgrade pricing sucks big time, I have been a customer since Delphi 2, but you have just lost my trade, congratulations, you have alienated me and how many others of the small/freelance/hobby developer (which is likely what you are after)After biting the bullet and moving in January to XE5 Pro from 2007 Pro, you not only release XE6 within 5 months, but to cap it all you remove FIREDAC from pro, which is what tempted me in the end to upgrade. And then on top of the recharge price, you want to charge me additional £262.99/$420US(with exchange rate) to add it back in:.Sorry EBT but you have lost the plot - LUNACY - who in their right mind would pay you the recharge price only to downgrade their development tools.Once again I wont be getting any further upgrades from you for the foreseeable future. Thanks for clearing this up. I did look at the feature matrix and didn't remember seeing this missing. In another thread, someone got worked up because some odd featuresseemed to be missing from the Professional SKU.Turns out this was a misprint and is different in the Delphi featurelist compared to the Rad Studio document.Don;t buy in to any hysteria. Either intentional or just wellintentioned. I'm pretty stoked about this release.Me too. This appears to be a better release than XE5, and XE5 is excellent.-Regards,Bruce McGeeGlooscap Software. Why is the release date for a new version of Delphi only slightly more predictable than radioactive decay? The last release date caught the marketing department flat-footed as they had a discount offer for the old version running until a date that turned out to be after the new release. This time they had a 'preview' seminar scheduled that is now, in Marco's own words, 'more of a launch webinar than a preview one, at this point'.If only Delphi's Random function could use release dates as a seed value.

For instance, I have XE2 installed on this machine, which is Delphi/CBuilder16.0, but uses 9.0 folder names.

The folder names started counting from1.0 when the BDS/RAD IDE was first introduced for C#Builder (Delphi 8.0).CBuilder was added to the BDS IDE in CBuilder 2006 (version 10.0).-Remy Lebeau (TeamB).
