Hi,I am upgrading ICA clients to the new XenAppHosted client (version 11) on Windows XP systerms and changing to a new application farm on new Citrix servers. First I need to uninstall the old ICA client (version 8.1). Uninstall goes fine. When I install the new version and start it, I get the old Application Farm.I can not delete it, because in the installation of the old version (not done by me, and not documented) the menubutton 'up' to get to the screen where you can delete/add application sets is grayed out.So I tried to delete everything I could find about citrix after the uninstall (citrix dir's, appsrv.ini and pn.ini files, registry keys of citrix) and then do a clean install.
I still get my old application set back.Where are these settings stored and how can I remove them or get to the screen where I can remove/edit the application set? Hi,problem solved!!!hexemes: you where right (almost) about the location of the user settings, and I did delete those. But we work with roaming profiles and somehow the profile on the server was not updated and still contained the ica client user settings. The Citrix client installation picked those up I guess. Deleting the ica client map in the users server profile map fixed this. Maybe just a glitch on our network or Windows bug.I will give hexemes the points for giving me the idea to check the dir's in the server profile.Thanks!

I have been removing some programs using Change/Remove button. Last I was trying to remove was Zango tool bar. At that point there was no response and I had to reboot.Ever since then for most programs I get windows installer error '.Please wait while windows configures.' Which then doesn't go away until killed from task manager.I am unable uninstall and reinstall any of these programs because I no longer chage/remove button for them. I do not see these programs in uninstall directory in the registry.I also do not seem to have any system restore points.Am i going to have to re-install XP?Any help appreciated. Download the.
