Recorded October 2011 before a rapturous audience, this 25th anniversary live production from Royal Albert Hall features Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess as the Phantom and Christine, and will undoubtedly thrill the devoted fan recognizing both from their recent appearances in later Webber productions. These too amazingly talented performers together are a match made in heaven. The way their two voices mix so well gives me chills every time I hear a song. The fact that this is all live also proves that these wonderful singers have it all. ,'We each have our own favourite actor for each role and Ramin and Sierra are my favourites in their respective roles. I wouldn't second guess any of the supporting cast either. It's really a superb ensemble. As for the album itself, it beats the original recording solidly - it features more songs. The only thing missing is the arrival of four other Phantoms to sing the title song, during the grand finale. A shame, considering they left in five minutes of applause at the end!

So much soul and feeling in all of their voices, especially Ramine. Power beyond belief. Never liked opera until I saw this and I just fell in love with it and Ramine. Everybody should listen/watch this version at least once. Regardless of whether or not you like opera, it is hard to deny the wonderful talent all the actor's possess. The set, make up, costumes and actors together create perfection.'
